The Matador is, indeed, quite good. All the acting is great, esp. Pierce Brosnan.

I liked the Matador. Although I prefer my black comedies blacker or more comedic.

It's nice to see after his entire career, that Pierce Brosnan can, indeed act.

Weird! I just saw the Matador last night, and enjoyed it as well.

Honestly, I got it under the premise that it was going to be more of an action movie. The trailer that I saw on TV, ages ago, was horrible. But for some reason, I still rented that movie b/c it seemed like there was something decent buried under the horrible editing job they did in the commercial.

The Matador the movie just doesn't compare to The Matador (NSFW) the series.

haven't seen the Matador yet.. the Pierce Brosnan one either..I thought the same about the trailer..Munich was awesome. Walk the Line was good ,but not great ,not because of the acting though.. Just watched Syriana (again).. and You & Me and Everyone We Know it was.. ?WTF , and F for Fake the special edition thing...

I really disliked Syriana.

Munich was better than I expected, but I hate watching Spielberg TRY so damned hard for an Oscar. It's painful.

I saw Ultraviolet and decided that Milla Jovavich should probably be doing porn, her acting is just that good.

Finally, I saw "The Libertine" and once again marvelled at how great an actor Johnny Depp is. The opening monologue is priceless, and the movie is good, but he's awesome. Too bad it looks like it was shot on Super-8 film stock.

i was watching this russian horror movie called the night watch. pretty cool movie, there's apparently a sequal called the day watch too.

Good to hear about Night Watch, its next on my Netflix to be shipped list.

I saw Night Watch. It's not bad. It's definitely better than the Underworld series, which sucks ass, in the neck, hard.

The only new show I've watched recently is Hell's Kitchen.

I feel dirty cause it's a reality show. But I think it's still ok, cause the whole show is basically just him [Chef Ramsey] yelling at everyone, and that's just entertaining right there.

Is this the kind of show where a bunch of twats stab each other in the back? The kind of show where people put their dreams on the line and then some prick yells at them until they cry? Or some combination of the two?

Yeah its a combination of the two. The kicker is though, that most of the people (at least in this season) seem to have NOOO bidness even TRYING...

None of them can seem to get it together. Last season there were a few actual Chefs on the show, and they were good...it progressed much faster than this season has.

Chef Ramsey is a prick, but hes a prick for a reason, cause ....(wait for it!!....)
