It sounds like their trying really hard to be positive and offer expert opinions. They're finding a lot of good sites but also some that I don't really think capture what they're trying to convey. So, to me their hopped up on sugar trying to promote their new blog by just offering glowing reviews to some good peeps. I don't feel I really learned anything from the read.

But it's good and I like most of the ones they showed as good. There were some really good designs there.

as one who's stuck with .NET programmers all day.....it's nice when you send or post anything design-related. A little escape is always good!!

I'm checking smashingmagazine on a daily basis. Not every article they put out there is interesting, but there certainly are bookmarkable gems occasionaly. The article about that _Why guy the other day led to some some interesting reading material for isntance.

Yeah, Smashing Magazine is pretty solid for sure.
