meh..they shouldn't be, there's no leetnes in that, just a few simple shapes is all.
thing is, if you can draw and get your head around a bezier curve, making something like this is easy. honestly, I have more respect for a well executed mask in Ps (like some did in the latest fillthis batch) which is way harder to do than anything I can in illustrator.
plus it doesn't have to be vectors or mimick my style, just use what you're comfortable with. maybe I am oversimplifying things, but I don't play Ps-tennis to see who can be the best with the technical stuff, I play to see where pictures can go, you know? sure, the more skill one has the easier it gets, but in the end it is just about rearranging, adding, deleting, changing the story.

I don't know, I think anyone can draw. it doesn't have to be complicated or realistic or whatever, it just has to be fun (for you, to do). there will always be people that will be 'psh..' about it, we know that, but what about the people that would go 'ooooh..me likey' ? those people matter even if it's just one. yourself.
ps: I'm searching for a quote but I can't find it yet, maybe later, anyway it came down to saying that "in creation there is no wrong" but better words were used.

Don't expect too much, it's been a few years since I've done much.
I've been kicked out of work for the week so It'll be a good break during the middle of the day when it's too hot to be doing things outside so I'm hoping to be able to give you a few volleys. After that I'll be ratshit again with the long hours I work and early starts killing me.
It'll also be a privilege to soar with one of the eagles of the 'dome

spent around 2.5 hrs on it this morning only to have PS corrupt on me. I've never seen it do this before. I will admit to giving it a bit of a hard time while I bang around re-learning basic vector-type things. It's a helluva lot of fun though.

I assume you keep your own psd files, so I flattened the previous two volleys to single layers to keep filesize reasonable, hope you don't mind.

no problems with all that bas. Looks like your server might be down I can't see any of your images or load the psd's. I'll keep checking regularly, it shouldn't be offline for long. There's been a few double posts lately ..
it's up again but the psd link gives me a 404 error - it's not there. 's ok, I'll work from the gif - I'll enjoy the challenge.
