Anyone have a source for good quality digital maps? I'm willing to pay for them. Looking for mostly political and/or topographical.

I get my hiking maps free from USGS.http://www.usgs.gov/pubprod/maps.html

and

locator

They may not be what you need, but they are pretty sweet.

Honestly, istockphoto has a good selection in their vector area. Otherwise, we us USGS and if there is something specialty we need...http://www.mapresources.com/world-maps-landing (but they are spendy)

sorry, last time I needed a US map was a few years ago as I recall, we ended up purchasing a vecto map which was pretty-much useless as it was translated from CAD and had way too many vector points... too many points to eliminate or reduce and so many that the file size couldn't be reduced to the range we needed

In the end, I believe I dissassembeld and rebuilt a US marijuana laws map I found in PDF
