I have a picture of a cloudy sky and I would lime to transform these clouds into an object, like someone's name. How would I go about doing this?

Something like this?

I saw that tutorial, not what I was looking for.

I wanted the text to look like they were written by wispy clouds and it was kanji so little hard to do by hand. I ended making a custom brush that looks like clouds, making a path text and stroking that path on a couple different layers with different colors/opacities using my created brush. Doesn't look too bad, it'll have to do as it is for Junko's birthday card and her birthday is tomorrow k

The other tutes I saw did something similar to what you describe and then tweaked with the smudge tool.

That's what I would have done, too.
