What's the best today? Flickr? Picasa? I think this came up earlier, but one main feature:

I'm looking for a site to share the photos, that also allows folks to upload and download the original full-res versions of the files whenever they want. Basically, got family across the country that wants to upload nice baby shots that everyone can download and print. And facebook photos ain't cutting it on the wall.

Anything like that? Maybe all the sites have that feature and I don't know, but take me to school. Yeehah!

Flickr allows that for pro users, as long as the individual images are 20MB or less.

Thanks dude. I'll check it. Not bad for 25 bucks a year.

Picasa also allows you to use full res images. And like flickr allows for private passworded or just hidden galleries.

Either one should do you fine.

has flickr implemented a mass download option or does picasa have this? So if you want to take all your photos away at some point and dont need to go to each full res and right click and save?

Bobby - Picasa allows you to download an entire album to the picasa application (if you are the admin of the gallery).

But since they are your images already, you should already have them, no?
