• no photos (in the final piece; use them as paint however you want)
• no type (same deal)

I'm looking for a few rounds of geometry and color: no discernable imagery or text here.

Anybody interested? (I'm in no hurry and plan on taking a couple of days in between volleys...)

How about open but sequential?

i.e.; after each new volley, only the first person who says they'll take it does the response. That way we don't have to assign specific player sequence, but we avoid flow issues we might have if a few people grabbed a single piece at the same time.

Can it become volumetric through distortion and lights or would you like to keep it as a more exploration of 2D pattern.

Volumetric is fine. I'm just interested in keeping it more abstract than turning into type on photos.
