What's a decent slideshow for Picasa that adjusts for size and orientation?

Any other tips?

So, why did you leave flickr?

Something yahoo did? The cost?

Right before I started on Google+, my Flickr account was up for renewal. I paid and renewed. When I tried to connect my G+ with Flickr, I was given a new Flickr account, so I'm unable to access my old account. I tried emailing yahoo but got no response.

Plus, I'm hoping Picasa offers more options for how albums are ordered.

I know arigato left flickr quite a while ago.

Picasa is OK but the social aspect isn't there. The group & category side of Flickr isn't there at all. I do like how it integrates with Google+ (mostly) but it is a bit more complicated than Flickr (i.e. you have to sort your photos in web albums separately from G+) and if you add new pictures to an existing album you have to comment on them before they get pushed to the newsfeed. Of course G+ is more-or-less a work in progress so choose your poison, you never know what features might be added... or removed. I don't see people thieving off Picasa web albums the way they (so frequently) do from Flickr but that may be a market penetration thing. Either way, I sometimes miss Flickr's communities but I don't regret leaving, they were starting to really piss me off for a wide variety of reasons, and the community side of things was getting very watered down - and as a paying subscriber I saw no reason to put up with the constant changes that seemed to be incrementally decreasing my overall experience.
