Hey, any suggestions as to why my FLVPlayback component won't play .mov files? Is it an encoding thing? Does it have to be an .flv for video events to fire? Questions, questions, questions...
Did not know .mov work in flash? Anyway I would search this blog for info on video support in recent players. http://www.kaourantin.net/2007/08/what-just-happened-to-video-on-web_20.html
You can use the H264 codec (which is a .MOV codec) but I still believe the FLVPlayback component can still only load an FLV file. To call a video encoded H264, you would have to call a NetStream Object.
I'm not 100% sure, but that was my understanding when they announced H264 support.
