I like it. Each one is recognisably of the same branding, yet unique to each individual. Nice idea.
random generation, even if attractive, isn't design.
True, by definition. But what about the design of the parameters within which the logos vary, and the code to implement it?
It's clearly not completely 'random', any more than a Pollock painting is completely random. Someone chose the colors, the shapes, the space within which they vary, etc. I sense a gray area lurking in there somewhere.
