It took awhile and there was many many opinions, but the overall keywords given from the board of the club was: Classic cars, 60-70's style, progress, Denmark and community. I've tried to map the progress just for fun.

First sketch, made on a night with too much bourbon.

The logo evolved in to this because of the classic taillight on a corvette, but I didnt like the end result since it made me think of loony tunes.

I took a few elements from the earlier work and then I evolved the logo into this, much more clean but also a bit too clean for a classic car club imo. At this point I probably had 20-25 different versions of the previous logos, so many elements to work with.

There was still missing something and the added element (the ring around the logo) gave it a lot, I was still not satisfied, but this version became the logo suggestion nr. 1

I burned through a development where I went from stylish to too much rock n' roll and back again. But in the end I came up with a good mix of new and old. It has the classic C3 corvette racing flags, but drawn in free hand from a picture on the cover of my Corvette Owners manual, which gave it my own touch, and this became logo suggestion nr. 2. Which was also what won after a vote 72% to 28% for logo nr. 1

This is the evolution of the original Corvette logos through the years, which of course I used a lot for reference.
