Terrible looking site with awful functionality & some broken images/ links, but a great concept & lots of great stuff to look at...

Buying up old (some very old) cameras from junk stores, then taking pictures with them and posting results. Very cool idea & some nifty info, too.

Very cool!

Isn't there some project someplace where the artist/artists/Artistes developed film found in old used cameras?

My father collected old semi-junk cameras for a while. I should take a closer look at them, but god knows where I'd get film.

At least the junk cameras are cheap and have kitsch. The current hogla's can fuck right off.

Agreed. That lens is a travesty.

What do you dislike about it?

no control over shutter speeds. very little control over aperture. very little control over focus. light leaks, broken backs, crappy lens.

And all the hipsters who think those flaws automatically = art. Sorry kids.

Anyone who tells me that the unpredictability and lack of control is part of the art form can go away... preferably quickly.

$20 better spent on a $5 camera from the 50s and a few rolls of film.
