I've created a custom ease in the motion editor and applied it to one of the movie clips on the stage. I would like to apply the exact same custom ease to other movie clips on the stage.

Is it possible to do this without having to dick about re-creating the ease on every single movie clip?

nothing ideal without scripting something in the IDE, primarily because the ease for positions is local. So you'll need to nest things in a parent to duplicate it.

highlight the frame where the motion tween starts, right click and choose copy motion as actionscript 3 or copy the motion to the clipboard.

I have never used these options though.

For anyone interested in saving eases... It is possible with the EaseCaddy extension:

// Link removed by a fussy admin

Sorry mate, make a few more contributions to the forum before self promoting k

My bad, didn't realize there was a minimum number of posts before you could post a link.

I would suggest locking that feature and informing new users when they attempt to post a link. Might save some admin time, too k

There aren't any hard and fast rules, but if a post looks a little spammy and it's the only post a user's ever contributed I tend to wipe it. Which serves the same purpose as informing a user about posting links k

Regardless, welcome aboard and feel free to add your link back, you're clearly not a spambot.

Much appreciated, Stinky.

The EaseCaddy extension (which I developed) is the solution to the original poster's query and can be found at http://ajarproductions.com/pages/products/easecaddy/

It's totally free to use, but is upgradeable for additional features.
