I need to convert from InDesign to PowerPoint so that all text remains editable and the graphic elements are individal elements too, allowing to move the blobs of colour behind titles for example, assuming that different reports will have different amount of text.
Can anybody help me...if so please explain step by step....I will be grateful to you.
Welcome to 12s.
There is no indd to powerpoint conversion. You can export from indd to pdf or bitmap, but then it won't be editable.
HOwdy and welcome aboard! Friday is your turn in the barrel.
I just want to say this question pops up about once a year and it's really a peeve of mine.
If ppt really bugs you that much, make your own uber slide show engine in objective C or ActionScript that can pull in indd. Look into Adobe Catalyst.
ppt sucks. There's no magic bullet.
I can't imagine starting a PPT design in InDesign.
