to dive in here because you are all so good. But I need some practice. Anyone for a battle? You serve and set rules.
Ill play a quickie but I warn you - I get easily distracted. And definately if Christmas comes around I won't be anywhere near a computer again until the second week of January.

I'll have a go as well if you'd like. I am currently matchless.
Would you like to start your pretties on this one first, Apollo?
you two can have it than. it'll probably last longer that way. use the photo or not.
ill enjoy watching. 8)
**no need to be scared - it's all about fun

3 way with Knevel and Lelou? Lelou and I can just continue when Knevel disappears?
**I think you have me confused with Media44
I'll play if no-one else will =]
**
Oh oops. Yes, Media44 and Lelou. Sorry Knevel.
xD
Sounds jolly good to me!
How confusing! I can hardly wiat.

Lelou wanna start us off? I'm never good at initial serves.
We'll just follow same size, and an element left over. You want jpg or psd exchange?
Jpgs sound spiffy. First serve is up..!

pretty bloody good lelou, you've set a good standard.
yes, wonderful start lelou ![]()
**very nice starter =]

very nicely played.

Very inspiring piece, perfect colors to set the mood.
absolutely gorgeous lelou!!
Good start!
:applause:
great stuff lelou
After much self doubt and all that jazz... I came up with this. Not extremely pleased and it doesn't do you justice, but I'll shut up now.

nice return
yes Apollo, nice return...
don't beat up on yourself too much... we all second guess our stuff... point is, just creating something and letting go is great excercise—and this is a safe place to do so
I still say that when it comes to seeing how and why someone reached a point with their PS battle piece MC's book Photoshop secrets of the pro's gives a really great insight into it. I'd highly recommend getting a copy, also it's great for me when I fall flat and need some inspiration. There are some fantastic, unique idea's throughout the whole book.
Thanks for the kind words everyone, and Apollo, you did great!
As long as you slap some of your personal style on it and twist the last return into something new, you did good.
My brain is very flip flop. I usually keep working on it til I'm happy, but I never seem to have a plan when I start. I run into a few dead ends before a serious spark happens. In the end, it's all for shits and giggles!
