God, they're brilliant! The accuracy with which they fly in formation (through the window and the FOE) is incredible.
Those are awesome (although they take all the fun out of things...)
Not when a swarm of them is programmed to go to the fridge and get me a beer.
I, for one, welcome our flying, beer carrying, overlords.
I see them more armed with blades and flying through your window in perfect formation to flay you alive, rebelling against their original program to trim the hedge.
I see them with programmable SuperLED on them and doing really kickass aerial light shows
I think I'll re-read Snow Crash!
I see them as the first step to a future exactly like the scene in Minority Report, where the 'spiders' sweep through the building, scanning the occupants.

I'd say Swarmanoid was nearer to that goal...
Love the mini quad-copter swarm though...I'd love to send them flying down the local high street and watch people freak the fuck out.
