I was gonna put a new FL4 on my website, but it's coming out at 8MB for a small (320x200-ish) video with no sound.

//edit:it's less than 2 minutes long.

Does that sound right? I'm using Adobe Media Encoder to convert an uncompressed AVI. Any settings I'm missing?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it depends how long the vid is.

Oops. About 1:45 (one minute, 45 seconds).

I haven't done a whole lot of video, but that doesn't sound to bad. I'll message you the url of one I did, it's about 2 minutes, 320-240, and 7mb.

At that size and length it should stay ahead of the stream with a good connection.

'K. Thanks. Maybe that's just the size but, without sound, it seemed kinda silly big.

F4v will come out quite large by default..make sure you set the bit rate down ,etc.. manually.. default settings for Audio/Video are really high ..

Yeah, I dialed it all the way back. Maybe FLV will be better? I dunno...
