any of you cats use facebook connect to gather info for your flash app?

I looked at fb stuff round christmas, i think it was out about then, not sure if there is any flash support.
Need to research 'OpenID' as facebook is, or is looking to support it. Facebook is fairly complicated minefield, getting any data is a fairly slow process.. basically it sucks and all very secretive and subject to change.
If you want a simple life then you can get get quite a lot of data in and out via facebookbridge or my haxe port facebridgex. I looked at a more complex as3 library, but it seemed to not do more. Facebookbridge is really powerfull but limited by what facebook will give you, you might be able to get a bit more data with connect but make sure you really need to, mostly its just another way of doing the same thing (icing) i think.
I did a lot of research but beyond getting friends pictures or groups and making sure I could query properly I did not use facebook for anything comercial, my aim was investigate getting a groups wall postings, but I concluded it was probably not allowed due to security limitations.
Anyway feel free to pm me what your trying to do, I am not an expert, but I could get your 3d app running in fb with friends pictures fairly easy, getting it to post to walls is possible but would take some pain, and getting tab info may take more work!
Try facebridgeX it gives links to as3 one (but mine avoids components) see the wiki link it links to zerofractals as3 tutorial which will save you hours in getting an app created http://code.google.com/p/facebridgex/
There is an as3 facebook developers group i ran into recently might be worth a try.

yeah looks like you can import the style sheet from facebook and get dive window overlays in flash, pretty neat
not alot of features on this site, but it looks ok floating over the swf.

A client of my brother wishes to do a little Facebook thing that they saw mint.com do on FB.
When you log in, the page checks if you are an existing Friend and if not redirects you to a custom marketing page encouraging you to "Add them as a Friend." ...or whatever. I don't FB.
I looked at the Secret Session information but from a front-end dev perspective, the utilization isn't very straight forward. Would I just be adding some JS to a page to make this happen based on the Friend. Secret Session stuff or does this require FB Connect? It sounds so simple yet their documentation works like 8 million cobwebs tied with together licorice to me.
And even customizing a page, is it like that MyS crap where you paste code into About Us?

The best way to start looking into it is check out the AS files -> they're pretty well commented and then look for the same methods in the JavaScript API documentation.
