I have to do email signatures for a client. How do I put in a header element as well as a footer? A simple background image for the header, or do I have to create stationary?

Background image no longer works in Outlook & Windows mail.

Design your stationary in word, so you have the same limited rendering engine.

It sucks.

make sure to clean up the generated html because yes, even a signature can become bloated. Header and footer elements in a sig .. must be quite a flashy one!
