There's an image limit, I guess.

As I mentioned in the first part of this post, I just spent a week in Cuba, in a resort (Los Corales) near Santiago in Cuba.

There is an adjacent semi-abandoned but very derelict resort (Carisol) that has stood empty for about a year.

The hotel complex

For a country with no private property, everyone appears to be much more respecting of property- no graffiti

Lovely.

I'm super jealous of that experience as well. I really hope we open up to Cuba soon. I want my cigars and cheap Caribbean vacations.

I hear Varadero is getting a bit skeezy but I doubt you will mind. k
I'd love to go to Havana some time.

A lot of Americans go to Canada then fly to Cuba. They don't stamp your passport for that very reason, all stamps are on your flight pass and visas. It's easier to stamp nobody than to just keep Americans safe from their own.

FJ - I like the windows shots, too. It's amazing how much growth & damage there is from one year.
