Hey guys,
I just started playing with the trial version tonight.
One quick thing I noticed is that if I'm working on an image and I want to zoom in on a corner, I can't drag a zoom box around it like before?
When I click and drag it immediately starts zooming in and out, is there a way to set this to give me a selection box to zoom on??
thanks!
I don't think so, but you can control the center and speed of the zoom. Took a little getting used to, but I actually find it pretty intuitive now.
you can shut that off....preferences i think. I'm with R-D though...once you get used to it you might prefer it. Who knows really...
when you select the zoom tool, there's a checkbox up in top contextual toolbar that says "scrubby zoom" which is on by default. if you uncheck that it goes back to <cs5 behavior.
pfft. boring.

Thanks Jess - I wondered what "scrubby zoom" meant, but never bothered to experiment.
same
"scrubby zoom", crazy.
i know, right? worst name ever.
it super freaked me out when i first upgraded because all of a sudden my canvas was at 6400% and i hadn't even released the mouse.
