fyi this thread is work and racism related, and its a bit ranty, so you've been warned.

you work with someone as a freelancer, and that someone is a certain race that is notorious for doing certain things that are not nice.
you notice he/she is obviously that race, but you think to yourself, "don't think that. they are not all like that. thinking that way is racist, and wrong."
so you go ahead and trust him/her, and what do you know? the generalization amongst that race proves to be 100% correct with that particular person.
you get pissed, and could sue, but you say fuck it, i've got better things to do with my time.
a couple months later, you get offered a project from someone that is also that race. you fear the same situation will occur. an open mind tells you to analyze the situation as 2 people involved, you vs someone of that race.
the same exact shit happens again.
you STILL tell yourself not to be racist against them.
rinse and repeat 5 times in a row.
i'm not joking or exaggerating. 5 fuckin times.
logic dictates that they cannot all be like that, or else their society would not function. it couldn't. they'd just be a bunch of fucks, vs a community of people who work together. but i guess its just my luck to meet 7 in a row. i am gathering at this point that they only do this to people not in their race.
so therefore, they are technically racist, and i'm just an asshole who doesn't learn his lesson.

they are rather smart creatures, unlike my open-minded ass.
I've been listening to Zig Zigler talk about sales and how proud he is to be a salesman. He talks about the profession of selling and honesty and trust. At the end he tells a story about a salesman he has great respect for.
Up until then Zig had me believing. And after he was done I realized, "My God, salesmen are such assholes." Zig just didn't get it. He didn't get it at all.
Some cultures just suck. That culture could be based off of race, religion, politics, job, hobbies, or something bizarre (such as Skull and Bones). Some cultures are great. If I find you're a member of the right culture I want to associate with you more. If you're a member of a culture that regularly fucks me over, expect me to avoid you like the plague.
People, on average, are good. But if you discover that a particular culture has more than it's share of assholes, avoid that culture if you can.

At any given time there are about a half dozen dogs in our office. I just don't think they're all that smart.
It's like when a parent looks at their newborn child nibbiling on their own toes, and starts rejoicing at how "smart" they are.

very possible, but I just spoke with my good friend who is one of them. i asked him about it, and why they do this to people belonging to other races.
he says he definately knows what i'm talking about it, and never understood it himself because he grew up in western massachusetts, where everyone loves everyone.

i have no idea who you're talking about either.
why not simply modify your behavior to keep from being screwed over by them in the future. asking for 75%-100% of your money up front or at least before delivery will do wonders to separate the wheat from the chaff (i'm assuming it's financial).
We don't get skeletor motherfuckers around here much, so I can't really identify with your feelings about them.
I'm guessing either Italians or Puerto Ricans.
