Hello, everybody! I don't show myself in here much..

A quick question, has anyone done any converting from AVI to SWF (the kind that play FLVs with the controls etc..)? If so, any recommendations?

I found VisiFly, but it seems a little buggy - it played through once then decided to play the first 1/3 again.

Thanks!

[edit]I wrote quickly and sound like an ass in my original

Are you looking for suggestions on some third party programs?

If you have Flash, convert the AVI to FLV with the Video Encoder and then open a Flash file and drag an FLVPlayback component on stage and export that .swf.

I'm kind of confused as to what your actual needs are.

Oh right, I didn't know you could do that... I'll have a go at letting Flash do it then. We were looking at third party apps to just do it, preferably in a batch as there's quite a few of them.

Thanks

Flash is the easiest way. The Video Encoder will take a video list and compile FLVs all night.
