GOD I'm going to fucking explode.

ARGH.

Rant ahead (sorry)

I've got to fire a developer because although he's smart he's terminally unproductive. The sort of guy who'll spend all day refactoring something when he should be fixing bugs.

Due to starting a project when I was out of town and not keeping a close eye on this putz we've royally screwed up what could have been a nice series of projects. The client is furious and I don't really blame them.

I just got back from overseas and it would have been great except for the fact that I just said goodbye to Dana for what is probably the last time a few days prior. I'm ok with that but it's a lot to carry around when you're trying to make a presentation after a 20 hour flight.

We stopped in Vegas on the way back. I was married in Vegas and it was the last place that Dana and I were before we left for Oz. I happened to be staying in the same hotel we did back then.

Sometimes things just get a bit frustrating. I'm ok and all I guess I just needed to vent and I didn't want to make this (really) public.

And my dog is still sick, he's lasted a lot longer than the vet thought he would but every time the little bastard goes to sleep I get all mother-hen.

Ah yes, Vegas, I'd forgotten about that tidbit, you seem to be having a lot of poignancy in your life these days. manly hugs

Sucks about your dev guy, too. Perhaps you could have him eaten by face-sized spiders as a warning to others. Here's to hoping the client can be salvaged.

I had a cat the vet thought would die within a week, he lived for another 3 years. But manxes are tough fuckers, he looked just like ito's cat.
