A close friend of mine needs some probably simple help on his site, I tried but I can't figure it out because of the Wordpress aspect. It was all working fine and then his idiot business partner decided to mix it up and just ended up breaking part of it. As best I can tell and from what he tells me it basically needs the CSS and especially the header fixed.

The site ishttp://www.bellastairs.com but the blog that is no longer working and is what brings them all of their business ishttp://www.bellastairs.com/news/ it should look more or less like:http://www.bellastairs.com/news.html#glass

Then when you click on a specific story you get yet a third style which should also be uniform with the news.html#glass - see:http://www.bellastairs.com/news/2010/09/21/glass-staircantilevered-staircase-jobs-in-progress/

If anyone wants to take a look I can pm you all the login info for both the domain and the wordpress. Part of the problem is the host he's using has one of the shittiest control panels I've ever seen and is not at all pleasurable to work with.

I'm not a great WP person, but looking briefly here's what I see:

1) Their blog page at /news/ isn't pulling in any specific styles from any theme. Also, when viewing the source, it looks like the opening tags aren't even there. My best guess is that the theme's index.php page got a bit messed up there.

2) On the specific story, I see calls out to a specific theme (black-letterhead). But viewing the source on the actual story... it looks like there are two instances of the and tags, which might be causing the problem. Again, at a quick glance, it looks like someone pasted in header code into a page template maybe.

I'm going to decline on trying to go in and fix it myself. Mostly because I don't want to be responsible if I can't resolve the issue (this is a company, after all). Hopefully, this gives them enough to go on.

Thanks Port! I'll be sure to let my friend know all of this, maybe even I'll go back in looking for those errors and try another quick stab at it myself.

I would guess it's a simple matter of the page using a custom template which has a few improper closing tags.

I've made a number of custom page templates in the past, pulling content from specific categories/etc if that's what these folks are trying to do as well.
