I'm looking for some opinions on the logo below. Please be honest (and constructive), trust me I won't be offended. It's for a wedding car hire company that specialises in VW Beetles.
Obviously I've anonymised it, but it's pretty close to the original.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
At smaller sizes, that curly font will be indecipherable.
The thin line that connects the fenders I think needs to either be as thick as the other lines or it should disappear.
Personally, I have a real hate for those cutesy-pie girly fonts, I think it would be better with a modern sans serif of some kind. Get ari, r_d et al to suggest... I am rubbish with fonts.
Other than that skinny line, I like the beetle shape of the logo a lot actually.
my 2 cents.
I agree on the line weight. And on the cutesy font, but more because I think the swirly bits are filling themselves in, and you're losing a lot of legibility. Especially on the phone # & url, but even on the headers.
I'd go for a playful sans, maybe something like Officina.http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/itc/officina-sans/
FWIW I like the shape, too.
Thanks for the feedback chaps.
Full disclosure: I didn't design the logo. It's for a site that I've been asked to build, and was designed by 'a friend of a friend' of the client.
What you've both said matches up exactly -- seriously, almost word-for-word -- with my thoughts. The beetle motif is good but the 'bottom' line should be the same width as the rest, the font is horrible and illegible when scaled down. However I wanted a couple of independent second opinions before I say so to the client.
So, thanks for taking the time.
I was gonna say I hated the font, but I see that would be superfluous.
So do we all like the font then?
Font is awesum. Just make it more pink. But with a blueish feel. And more wedding-y. KTHNKSBYE
You know when a font is so wrong that _I _can tell, that it is very wrong indeed.
