1) I don't want to wear a pair of 3D glasses just to watch tv.

2) What happens when I'm entertaining 5-10-15 people? Do I need to buy a pair for each of them as well?

3) What if I already wear glasses?

So, I don't care how big the market gets for these things, really. I still see the glasses as an obstable to world-wide adoption.

Do I has the crazy?

There are systems in development that don't require glasses.

TBH I think there are plenty of other obstacles -- like price, lack of a standard, people having just upgraded to HD, lack of content...I think it's going to be a few years before this has any chance of really taking off. If indeed it ever does.

I've seen a 3D demo that didn't require glasses, where they projected a stereo image using 2 projectors onto a polarized screen, but adapting that to LCD/LED displays would definitely be a challenge.
